ReservEase Fees

The primary focus of ReservEase is to provide Vacation Rentals, Bed and Breakfasts, and Small Hotels and Motels robust and feature rich online room reservation system for as low as possible. We support ourselves by charging your customers a small online booking convenience fee (our research has shown customers don’t mind paying this very small fee) and by charging the hotel a very small charge just for covering our credit card processing costs. However, these fees will only be charged if you use our online Merchant Account as outlined below. 

Option 1 -

Property Management Solution with Email Reservation Requests (including Credit Card details) and Availability Calendar

Allow your guests to see what availability you have online and send in email reservation requests with their credit card information. You simply Accept or Decline the requests to have your Online Availability updated instantly. You run the credit card details through your credit/debit card machine in your Property.

 Cost =  Unique fee of 1USD per room to set up the system with a minimal of 15USD.
Monthly fee of 1USD per room with a minimal of 15USD

Option 2 & 3:

Property Management System with Instant Online Booking and Calendaring Solution using Online Merchant Account (for processing credit cards)

When the Customer decides to book a room they select the Book Now button and are directed to a standard check-out page to enter booking details and credit card information…this room reservation is made immediately and confirmed, all in real-time.   

 Option 2 – Using ReservEase Merchant Account

Example Fees:

a) Credit Card Processing Costs Paid to ReservEase are based on the amount of deposit collected by the a small tourist accommodation.  Typically,  small tourist accommodations want a 10% deposit to book a room.  

 For Example:

Required Room Deposit is 10%

Credit Card Processing Cost Paid to ReservEase is 1% of the booking amount. (ie- for a $100 Booking, the deposit required is $10, so our credit card processing cost  is $1 and  $9 is electronically deposited into your hotels bank account). The balance of the $90 is collected by the hotel from the customer on arrival where we expect no commission.

b)Unique fee of 1USD per room to set up the system with a minimal of 15USD.

c)Monthly fee of 1USD per room with a minimal of 15USD

AND

d)We charge  a per night Booking Convenience Fee to your online Customer which  = 1.5%/night. (This revenue is kept by ReservEase .)

Note: Tourist accommodation provider can increase the required room deposit amounts however credit card costs  paid to ReservEase will increase. 

Note: The Booking Convenience Fee charged to your customer can be waived and the accommodation can elect to pay this to ReservEase on behalf of the customer.

Option 3 – Using Your Own Online Merchant Account (which we get for your Tourist accommodation on your behalf)

              

Cost =  2.25% – 5%  of Transaction Value (Visa and Mastercard Credit Card Processing Costs). Funds are deposited into your bank account just like your onsite credit/debit card machine.
